ABOUT THE OWNER
Eva Meier, CPT, PN1
After her own personal experiences with mobility issues, Eva Meier founded the Line Method to help others learn how to move and live better in their own bodies. As a dancer in her youth, Eva battled with unexplained sciatica and pelvic instability. After multiple rounds of physical therapy, Eva still felt limitations in her movement and life. Determined to find a solution to her health challenges and help others with theirs, Eva received her Personal Training Certification through the ISSA in 2014 while completing her first personal training mentorship in Chicago, IL at South Loop Strength and Conditioning.
Her journey into the fitness world led her to numerous mentors that shaped her views on movement education, including industry professionals in Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, Pilates and physical therapy. And after many years of searching and working with professionals, she finally received a diagnosis of having HSD – Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder in 2021.
Her experience with chronic movement limitations helped shape The Line Method. It organically grew into a fitness practice that encompassed longevity, sustainability, and of course, enjoyability. We understand that to move well and feel confident in your body, you need a holistic approach that integrates fitness and training techniques from multiple disciplines.
