Who We Are

The Line Method is a boutique personal training studio in the heart of Washington, DC.

We are movement instructors who are passionate about blending methodologies to build functional strength, increase mobility, and restore your body.  We believe in a holistic, sustainable approach to creating long-term improvements in movement so you can feel good and move well in your own body.

We are not a one-sized-fits-all fitness approach.  We build flexibility, but we are not a yoga or  Pilates studio.  We build strength, but we are not a weight-lifting gym. We restore muscles, but we are not physical therapists. We embrace multiples fitness disciplines to help you create a strong, mobile body.

What is The Line Method?

The Line Method uses movement as a tool to create physical, mental, and emotional realignment.

By blending methods that focus on creating strength, mobility, stability, and recovery, the Line Method is a holistic, sustainable approach to improving movement and health.

Personalized Instruction

The Line Method believes that personalized instruction is key to enhancing your movement abilities. Because we know everyone comes with their own set of strengths and challenges, working in a 1:1 setting allows us to focus specifically on the goals that you want to accomplish with methods that are most beneficial to your body.

Interdisciplinary Approach

Every body is dynamic and constantly changing. Each one calls for a variety of training needs ranging from strength to flexibility to mobility and beyond. The Line Method builds each session around your goals and priorities by blending different styles of fitness from strength training to recovery work.

I love Eva and the The Line Method studio for my fitness needs. She definitely focuses on physical, mental and emotional realignment. She has improved my flexibility and strength. It’s more than just yoga and pilates. This is not intimidating environment where anyone at any fitness level can get fit. I love how each workout is different and challenging in its own way. I also like the focus on warming up, as well using proper technique and posture. Highly recommended! If you are looking to improve your weaknesses of your workouts, Eva and The Line Method is by far the best of Washington, DC.

I’m so happy with the team over at the The Line Method. They really do blend methods that focus on creating strength, mobility, stability, and recovery. Plus super convenient to get to from right here in Washington, DC. The personalized instruction is key to enhancing your movement abilities. They worked with me 1:1. Interdisciplinary approach Eva has training ranging from strength to flexibility to mobility and beyond. Restorative fitness and positive energy, I give these guys 5 stars and if you are looking to level up your fitness I give The Line Method a great recommendation.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Eva and The Line Method. In the 3 years Eva and I have been working together my hip pain has disappeared, my balance has improved dramatically and I no longer have to lean on a wall when I put my pants on! (Awesome!) Her studio is serene and peaceful which makes it easy to focus on what you are doing. Plus, Eva is an amazing diagnostician. She can figure out what connects to what and how to design both in-studio and at home exercises to work out the body glitches and pains. With Eva’s help, I’ve learned a lot about my body and find it empowering to know how to heal myself at home as well as with her in studio.
